Kyocera Corporation is a prominent Japanese technology company, originating from ceramic materials for the semiconductor industry (formerly Kyoto Ceramic Company, Limited). In recent decades, Kyocera has acquired a broad product portfolio in electronics and office equipment, of which mobile phones are part of the offering. Kyocera primarily addresses the domestic and North American market for smartphones.

Andreas Lifvendahl, CEO, comments:

“Japan has developed into one of our strongest markets. With the agreement with Kyocera, we now have three of the four major Japanese smartphone manufacturers as customers. It is with considerable pride that we once again demonstrated that we qualify our technology and delivery ability to the well-known very tough quality requirements that Japanese technology companies place on their suppliers. In addition, the agreement shows the development that has taken place in the Vidhance product family, as the license rights go far beyond video stabilization. ”
