The solution
Vidhance for TCCC
In forward medical support and during evacuation, medics and field surgeons may need to perform life- and limb-saving procedures under remote expert guidance. A shaky feed, poor lighting or an obstructed view makes accurate remote assessment difficult.
Vidhance stabilizes the feed at the source and gives the remote specialist direct control of framing and zoom, without asking the person delivering care to adjust the camera. They stay focused on the patient. The specialist gets a stable, controllable image – from a handheld device or a head-mounted camera.
Core Capabilities
Stabilization
Stable First-Person Video
Stable, usable video regardless of how the caregiver moves.
Real-time stabilization compensates for hand movement, transport vibration and involuntary motion – keeping the feed clear and usable for the remote specialist under field conditions and the contrast lighting of a forward surgical position.
Remote Camera Control and Click & Lock
The specialist controls the view and locks onto what matters, without interrupting care
The remote specialist controls framing and zoom directly from their own screen. No verbal instructions to the caregiver. When the specialist selects a point of interest, Vidhance holds it in frame automatically – without any input from the person delivering care. If the subject temporarily leaves the field of view, the software reacquires it when it reappears.

Instant Hi-Res Capture
Full-resolution stills without interrupting the feed
Full-resolution still image captured mid-stream for wound assessment and documentation. No interruption to the video feed. Optimized for clarity on low-bandwidth connections.
Deployment Scenarios
Role 1 – Medic in the field
A medic using a smartphone or handheld device shares a stabilized first-person view with a remote medical officer. The specialist controls framing and zoom from their own screen. The medic stays focused on the patient.
Role 2 – Forward surgical support
A surgeon or medical officer wears a head-mounted camera. Remote specialists follow the procedure live and control framing, zoom and focus from their own screen. Click & Lock anchors the view on anatomy or instruments without any input from the wearer.

Clinically validated and peer-reviewed
The Vidhance software is developed under resource-constrained conditions in East Africa and validated in a peer-reviewed study, now in clinical use for burn care in Europe.
